These series of pictures are a personal testimony of my journey with Jesus Christ. When my family told me we were taking a vacation to Orlando, Florida I had decided, I didn’t want it to be a vacation of only relaxing and getting away for a while. I wanted this vacation to be a witnessing opportunity since I was away from my hometown and experiencing a new place new people.
First Picture: “God, your love is like an ocean” I like to compare my walk with God to the ocean because I’m constantly going deeper with him each day. This picture gives you a glimpse of the beauty of his creation before we even start on the journey.
Second Picture; “There is more to testing the waters” This picture was taken at my toes to represent only giving the slightest bit to him and constantly walking in and out of the waters not wanting to be committed. I am not just sometimes in sometimes out, asking myself “is this really what I want?” but I’m determined to go the full way because I know what he did for me on the cross.
Third Picture: “There is more to walking with you” This picture was taken at my knees to represent the Christian walk, this is where most people get stuck. They have a good devotional life, prayer life and attend church regularly but it becomes more routine then relationship. If this is you, I challenge you to take the next step!
Fourth Picture: “There is more to letting you in deeper” This picture was taken at my core to represent how when the water hits your core you can feel it and in that moment you have to ask yourself “am I going all the way or backing out?” It is the part where you let him in to those deep dark areas of your life; you give him the pain, the hurt and let him replace it with peace, comfort and strength. Change you from the inside out.
Fifth Picture: “I am drowning in your presence” This picture represents absolute surrender to my saviour. I’m so consumed by his love that I’m drowning in his presence seeking his will for my life.
